So around here this week....
In a Christmas miracle, the time over the heat vent has stimulated some growth from my long-dormant amaryllis bulbs.
Cards went out this week.
We moved a set of bunkbeds from one bedroom to another and when we did so, we found this on the plywood that holds up the bottom bunk. A long-ago signature from one of my older boys. This is exactly how it looked, written backwards.
Sent to me from the kids and grandkids this week, Eric portrayed one of the wisemen at his ward (church congregation) Christmas party.
The power went out at Collin's house, which prompted a tripe to Chili's for dinner.
First grade Christmas art from James.
Just so cute. I have all the paper stuff like this my kids made, and every time I open the decorations bin and see it, it makes me smile....and sigh a little.
The elf on the shelf at Marc's house brought them a Ninja bread cookie set they've enjoyed this week.
They carefully made some pretty great creations.
Decorating them carefully,
With just the right sprinkles to make some amazing ninja cookies.
Levi also had his kindergarten Christmas program grandpa and I were invited to.
It's been lots of years since I've been to one of these and it was just the cutest thing I've seen in a while.
Yep, Jingle all the way.
The program wore Jude out, though.
My daughter FaceTimes me frequently with the babies. They are sitting up pretty well now, and army crawling everywhere. They arrived yesterday for the holiday and we had to put the fence up around the Christmas tree.
It was a long drive up, but they did pretty well.
I didn’t know they served tripe at Chili’s. We need to tell grandpa!
