Our week has started off on a very low note.
We lost our sweet Ollie-dog yesterday.
He was 11 1/2 years old, the same age as our grandboy, Frederick.
He was the most patient boy with the kids and grandkids.
Calm and smart and loved to chase ducks.
He could also play a mean game of Fetch It Up.
This is my mother. We knew the end was coming and when she was here for Sunday dinner, she just wanted to "sit next to him and give him pets."
My husband and I buried him down on the pond property where they had such a good time hunting together. One of my sweet friends said it best when she told me yesterday, "Whatever time we have with them is never enough." He really was just the best dog.
He was the best dog. He’s already missed.
