So around here this week....
I have spent a considerable amount of time in the car, driving my husband to work, and back a couple of times a day.
We got a day of amazing rain. I was so happy.
My roses are getting ready for the big show, which will happen probably sometime next week a little ahead of schedule.
Sent to me from the kids and grandkids this week, I got this one from Eric. As you know, Idaho is potato country and they can be afflicted with a disease called Hollow Heart. Perhaps you've cut open a potato and it had a big, hollow spot in the middle. Anyway, when Bryce was little he was preoccupied by the possibility of Hollow Heart in his potatoes and "Is this Hollow Heart?" has become a standard question. Eric was pretty sure this bread had the affliction.
Elisa sent this one of her new iris. So pretty!
From Collin's family, James is apparently in an organizing phase. He did a dandy job on Alison's work bench.
Here's James...
....and maybe you can see Bat David having quiet time in his room.
The boys on a swing.
There was a bike ride....
...and some reading time.
John is quite willing to stand on anything that gets him closer to his dad's books.
Collin went exploring with his big camera....
....and took some interesting pictures...
....of types of flowers I haven't seen before.
And from Marc's family I got this one from Jude's mama saying she guesses she's not feeding him enough.
Here he is again with post-bath hair.
It was a good week in this neck of the woods. Hope yours was, too.
Khollow khart
