So here's the wedding recap....It was a very good day.
We had a family dinner the evening before the wedding. We got to meet Sarah's family and eat good food. Even Roger thought it was good, and that's saying quite a bit.
The wedding day itself dawned overcast, which was ok. We did struggle a little bit with the breeze that came with the clouds. My daughter did the flowers for the wedding.
This was the bouquet, and I just loved the little white sweet peas that she added.
Her husband was a big help, holding onto things when he was needed.
The grandkids were dressed up for the occasion. Gwen had a cute high-low dress.
And Caroline had flowers on her dress and in her hair.
Emmett and Ephraim sported bow ties,
...and Evan's boys opted for suspenders.
Marc and Rachelle were able to have someone watch their kiddos overnight.
We waited in a pavilion outside the Provo City Center temple for the bride and groom to make their big arrival.
And there they were!
I got a hug from the boy and felt all the feels.
Eric and Elisa...Elisa wearing one of the corsages my daughter made.
This kept the kids occupied for a bit...following each others like a flock of little ducklings.
My husband, visiting. It's what he does best.
We were able to get all the grands that attended to stand still long enough for exactly one picture.
Then it was my kid's turn.
You know....
I'm not sure things have changed that much in 15 years.
Of course, everyone had to try out "The Bryce" pose.
That hasn't changed much either,
since it's very early beginnings.
Nope.
Most of us took a break for lunch.
and I got to visit with one of my sisters...always therapeutic.
Quincy was running out of steam by then, so I got to cuddle him a little bit. So yes, it was a very good day.
Some good pictures of you mom. It was a good day
