My hands have mostly been busy with wedding stuff lately. We're down to just over 2 weeks to go before the big day. Do I have everything under control? Probably not, but I've done the best I can do.
I did manage to get the February little 2" minis done from the most recent Primitive Gatherings wool box. Stitching is very therapeutic for me. The feel of the wool and the repetitive motion really helps soothe sometimes tattered or frantic feelings. Plus, it's so pretty when it's done.
I posted the picture to Instagram and was really surprised to have it reposted by the owner of the Primitive Gatherings company, Lisa Bongean, and then again by the store itself.
Since my husband was gone a good chunk of last week, I took the time to finish off my 2019 December Daily album.
It was my first time using this particular 3x8 size album.
I found it just a little confining at first, but managed to adjust as I went along.
I'm thinking maybe it's not a bad idea to restrict myself to just one story a day.
I made me focus in on what the real point of the day was. I used ideas from Cathy Zielske and Kristina Werner, and supplies from Ali Edwards.
Here's the last couple of weeks of Project Life pages done with the app.
So cool that your Instagram post got reposted!! I totally get how the stitching is therapeutic. That’s exactly how crochet is for me. If I can just get 5 minutes of crochet therapy a day, life is good. :)
