So around here this week....
On bulb watch, the daffodils in the front yard (which faces south) are up about 3 inches, and the snowdrops are blooming. No sign of bulb activity in the north-facing backyard yet. I'm really anxiously waiting to see if any of the dozens of bulbs I planted last fall will make an appearance.
Wedding registry gifts are arriving. We're at T-minus 1 week and counting.
Just a "keeping it real" moment. We all know my husband's a stacker. His collection of ball caps sits on top of a cabinet in the kitchen. Seriously, does anyone need this many ball caps???
This happened, so there was a morning that my house smelled really great.
Sent to me from the kids and grandkids this week, Eric's family went tubing up at one of the local ski resorts.
It's safe to say that a good time was had by all.
Including Ephraim, who had a little trouble with snow spraying in his face, but once that was taken care of he was good to go.
Fun stuff, although the mother in me wonders why helmets aren't required for this activity.
This was my Eric on that outdoor excursion, looking like the mountain man he is.
This was Eric a couple of days later, complaining his face was cold. The beard disappeared, which made his wife very happy.
From Marc's family, this is Jude's new recreational pastime...pulling out anything he can reach in the pantry. He looks pretty happy about it.
My daughter and her husband went skiing.
And lastly, from my sister's letter board.
You can never have too many hats...or coats...or gloves...or elk on the wall...

Shaking up hot chocolate is a manly endeavor.

Who are you kidding? Those boxes were probably filled with crafty items, not wedding gifts. *wink* Ha!
