So around here this week....
My favorite Red Maple tree is turing in its usual spectacular fashion.
The porch is decked out for fall. Bryce helped me haul all the pumpkins from our local farm stand when he was here last week. It was so refreshing to have a slave boy to help me. I miss that.
I made a new batch of laundry soap. It works great and I love having a nice, full jar. And yes, I wore my eye protection like my husband wanted.
We celebrated Roger and Ephraim's birthdays at our family Sunday dinner.
Each of them had a candle to blow out, but Ephraim's took a little more time to accomplish.
Emmett and Ephraim were also here to visit during the girls' piano lesson time. Ephraim was showing off his cars to Gus.
I wanted to show where my feet were on my walks this week. I loved the different colors here.
I just love this time of year for the temperatures, the colors, the smells.
Sent to me from the kids and grandkids, I got this picture from James' mom. He likes to take her phone and ask Siri questions. This was the latest.
I also got this one of John, who has four little teeth showing.
Which prompted this response and picture from my husband.
And finally, my sister's letter board this week.
I love James’ question for Siri!! Haha!

Kids do, weirdos. I’m making candy corn cupcakes for 2 class parties next week as requested by my less-mature-palates.

Eating candy corn is like eating the devil's own toenails.
