So around here this week...
I took this picture on my walk one morning. This is my favorite kind of day....overcast, because the sun is up and blazing down dang early these days. Cool, with the hope of rain at some point. More often than not the rain doesn't happen, but one can always hope.
This came, because my husband was on a critter adventure for a few days this week.
These deliveries never fail to make me smile, and there is always some kind of unexpected surprise in them. I have absolutely no idea what kind of flower this spidery one is, but it's pretty cool looking.
Last week's Project Life pages done with the app.
I am current, which makes me really happy....and relieved, to tell you the truth.
Sent to me from the kids and grandkids this week, I got this picture of Ephraim wearing his mom's new chicken boots. This probably necessitates a chicken update. The cute little fuzzy chicks are covered with feathers now and growing. All 10 are also still alive.
I got these next couple of pictures from Bryce, who celebrated his birthday away from us. His girlfriend made THE CAKE for him.
And they had sushi, which is one of his favorite things.
Then there was what poor David and his family endured this week. It started like this....
.....which was concerning enough for them to spend some time at the local Urgent Care getting checked out.
It quickly progressed to this....and beyond. Trust me, the next day was much worse, which scared his pediatrician enough to send them to the Infectious Disease department at Walter Reed Hospital. They determined it was some kind of virus and that it would go away in a week or so.
....and they were right. He was really uncomfortable for those days, but thankfully things are returning to normal.
And lastly, here's our most recent picture of Baby John. Happy, chubby boy that he is....without a viral rash.
I have those same chicken boots!! I use them all the time for yard work and fishing!!
