So around here this week....
We switched from this...
....to this in a matter of days.
Honestly, I'm going to have to get myself geared up and mentally prepared for this. And it's not that I don't like spring. I do, it's just that I know what comes next, and if I'm throwing the covers off multiple times a night in the dead of winter, with the heat off on our bedroom's end of the house, I can just imagine how I won't be sleeping in the summer. And then there's yard maintenance.
I spent several days in tech support hell with several electronics issues. One of them still has yet to be resolved. Technology is wonderful when it works, but when it doesn't, I end up spending huge chunks of time on the phone with Bob Marley's cousin, who tells me "It's fixed, Mon," and then the next day we're back to square one.
Gus is also shedding his puppy coat....all over the house. There's not one square inch that hasn't been touched by Gus hair. I'm vacuuming multiple times a day.
This happened, though, and I went outside to stand in it and just inhale the fresh.
We also had some visitors yesterday in the middle of the afternoon. I was doing some cleaning in the living room and just managed to catch this as they ran by.
Made the switch over to March planner/traveler's notebook stuff....all bright and spring-like that it is.
And hello, March. We're already 1/6 of the way through the year.
Sent to me from the kids and grandkids this week, there were a few from Evan. Apparently at the mere mention of scripture study, Roger falls asleep.
There was some baking that went on at their house.
Quincy says, "Cookies to eat in there...."
I also got some pictures of Baby John from Collin. Collin had been instructed to wake him up for a feeding, but John wasn't really in the mood for being awake.
Miss cuddling with this boy.
John looks like David in that pic
