So around here this week.....
My family started migrating to their respective homes, and I've started packing Christmas stuff away. We also spent New Year's Eve and Day at the annual pheasant ranch event with my husband's side of the family. This is a day when those who want to, hunt pheasants and the rest of us hang around trying to find something to keep ourselves amused. I brought some games with me this year, so I was a little more prepared than I have been at other times.
Gwen borrowed a drawing book from her great-grandmother, and spent some time drawing some cats. Since I have zero artistic ability, I'm thinking these look really good.
Roger worked on some continent puzzles he got for Christmas.
I asked him to give me his best "I just put South America together" grin.
My daughter was there, and I got her to take a selfie with me.
We made the long drive home the day after New Year. Kind of a double-edged sword here. It's always such a relief to get out of city traffic on the Wasatch Front, but there's really not much between there and home. We had some pretty snow to look at, though.
Sent to me from the kids and grandkids this week, here's Eric in his work environment with a gift some of the people at his office gave him. Everyone should probably have a mustache mug, but I'm kind of glad Eric doesn't sport a real mustache like that.
Evan finally got a picture of the scowl that reminded us of my husband's baby picture.
I don't think it's my imagination that there's a similarity.
Collin has sent a steady stream of pictures from Back East, but I'm thinking they might need their own post.
And lastly, here's a shot of Gus in his element at the ponds yesterday.
Good pictures!

Gwen did an awesome job of drawing cats!
I wish I could draw.

That picture of dad is so creepy. He still pretty much looks exactly the same. It's like staring into mini-dad's face, and he's VERY disappointed...
