Every once in a while I get to take a short break from cleaning up puppy poop and get to work on my UFO list.
I've finished off a couple more of these quilt blocks. These are the ones you saw in pieces the last time I posted about working on them.
I tried putting 2 together at the same time thinking that it might save me some time in the long run. Yeah, I wasn't able to make a really credible comparison, since things like birthdays, Easter, families coming to visit, general conference, making the magic food happen, oh...and the poopy puppy kind of made that difficult. These are blocks 7 & 8 out of 12. I've seen the finishing instructions for this quilt. If you think you've seen a lot of little triangles so far? You ain't seen nothin' yet. It makes me a little scared.
I got a couple of the smaller house blocks stitched while listening to conference. I'm one of those people that concentrates on it better when my hands are busy doing something. To give you a little perspective size-wise, the big flower blocks are about 10"x12". These are in the 5" square-ish range.
These are blocks 10 & 11 out of 12. I've also seen the finishing instructions for this quilt and while not quite as intimidating as a hundred million little triangles, it will involve appliquéing more trees to join the blocks together, and several more things around the perimeter. I don't think either one of them will finish up in a couple of days.
Here are the last couple of week's worth of Project Life app pages.
There's that picture of the blocks in pieces....
Some of these pictures you've seen....
...and some of these stories are still waiting to be told....tomorrow and Saturday.
