Lovely post!

Yes! With all the zillion changes I've had lately I've learned to embrace change and repeat "it is what it is". I'm not sure I'll miss this part of my life too much though.
I'm grateful for change to know that things can get better. it won't always be like this.

Whenever I get to thinkin too wistfully about the future, just wanting change, I remind myself of a talk given in General Conference when we had just moved to Ohio about a photograph of children having a picnic that the parent couldn't remember and wished he/she could. I think of that country song, "you're gonna miss this. You're gonna want this back. You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast" and just try to appreciate what is good NOW. It is definitely a work in progress at successfully doing that, though!

Beautiful post Catherine. thank you for sharing it.

Change is hard, but change just happens. How we deal- our attitude about being better and moving forward is what's important. One of the great things about being 50+ish is the chance to do some things I've always wanted to do- bucket list stuff. Thanks for getting me thinking!

Beautifully written.

So true. We should all do a better job of slowing down and enjoying each other.
