For the last 10 days or so, we have been caught up in an inversion that has socked in fog and frost.

It has made for some really nice picture taking.

It just makes everything looks like we belong in the movie "Frozen."

Right about now my sisters are shivering in their shoes just looking at these pictures. They are "bake your brain" types and long for sunny days and warm weather. Pay attention, because you're getting a very rare glimpse of...

Me. I have been walking in the mornings despite the cold weather and on this morning, I actually had frost in my hair when I was done.

What I haven't seen before is the way the frost hangs like icicles.

Or not. This is fancy frost that decided that to do something more exciting than hang in straight lines.

We had one afternoon last week that the sun actually broke through. I made PB rake the pine needles that had blown down onto the front pavers.

But otherwise, we have pretty much had this view. These are the trees that drop the pine needles everywhere.

I can almost not be mad at them when they look like this. Almost.
