I have said many times that I do not possess the home dec gene, which is why roughly half my living room has been empty since I replaced the ugly maroon carpet 3 years ago. A couple of weeks ago, I tried to go in to a furniture store here in town. I got through the front door, saw it all spread out there and just couldn't do it. I turned right around and walked out, but while we were in Boise I decided enough was enough and after Cabela's DH and I headed for a large furniture store there...with sweaty palms on my part.
I was looking for a table/storage of some kind, as well as chairs and a table for a little sitting area over by the piano, and....amazingly...we actually found something we agreed on. Keep in mind that we're still viewing throught the iPhone lens.
I ordered two of these chairs.
This trunk/table.
And two of these lamps. It will be delivered mid-month. I did it! And I did it in much less time than it took DH to wander through Cabela's.
Good choices! The chairs look comfy, and I love the trunk!
