The photos you saw yesterday of the birch tree were taken last Saturday morning. This is what the tree looked like yesterday afternoon.
Most of the leaves have fallen.
In fact, Monday afternoon when I was sitting in the room where I scrap, I watched it literally rain golden leaves.
I wish autumn lasted two more months. It's the prettiest season and we don't get to enjoy it nearly long enough! We've been pretty lucky this year here--autumn is still holding its own against the winter cold. But I know its probably a matter of weeks (maybe even days) before the leaves are all fallen and the snow is falling.

Such a pretty tree- but Fall comes too fast with it's freezing cold temperatures. :(
