I had a last burst of energy (and time) late last weekend before the family got home. Both will be in short supply as we get closer to PB's departure, but please can I be Scarlett O'Hara today and just "think about it tomorrah"? As always, images can be clicked on to enlarge.
I started to get caught up with the Project 12 monthly layouts.
Here is June's. I don't know what they're trying to do to me with all the crooked-y photo placement on this sketch. I should have just saved myself the hyperventilating and put them on straight, but I'm trying to prove that I can be flexible.....I can.....I really can. My scanner even seems to be conspiring against me since some of my layouts appear a little crooked, too. They are straight IRL.
And here is July's. I loved this sketch. All straight and even just like a quilt. Ahhhhh.....
This one is the weekly assignment for my BPC Mother LOAD class. We were supposed to create an "intentional" layout....something that would convey a message or emotion so clearly that the viewer wouldn't necessarily have to read the journaling. You've already read the journaling in this post, and hopefully the layout sends the message of change and time passing. That was my intent, anyway.
I have also been participating this week in the BPC Words to Live By free class. We get a word each day and scrap it in some way. I'm using the kit that is available for the class and turning it into a mini album.
Pretty awesome little book!
