I signed up to participate in a LOAD (Layout A Day) class this month through Lain Ehmann's Scrap Happy website. I find that I am particularly motivated by deadlines and challenges and am much more productive when I have something like this going in the background. That said, over-achiever that I am, I also signed up for Big Picture Classes 28 Days of Sketches class. I don't think I realized that they overlapped like they do. Anyway, in the middle of all this, I'm desperately trying to get caught up on my 365 project. Don't look at me like that....I've been a little busy, OK!! A wedding, a grandbaby and only one week since mid-February without company will do that. Here are a few of the layouts I've gotten finished. So far I am current in both classes and have finished off last year's 365 binder. See? I really am motivated by deadlines. Most combine the daily LOAD challenge with that day's sketch. You can click on the images to make them larger.
This was a sketch from a class last month. I haven't finished the sketches quite yet.
The one below uses a sketch from the POM webiste.
I actually love how this next one turned out, blurry photos and all. I was lying on my stomach, wanting to get some photos of the Little Guy, when he caught site of the camera. He came streaking across the floor faster than fast, hoping to get a hold of it. Some of the pictures are blurry and I think that adds to the feeling of "speeding" along. He was moving fast and I was laughing hard. :)
I think I've posted this photo on the blog already. DH in front of a huge Ponderosa Pine near the cabin.
I am so glad you are so productive, I love seeing the layouts!
