My children will all be able to identify the movie quote title instantaneously. It comes from one of their favorites. Boom, shuh-kah-lah-KAH! Atta girls to those I didn't birth who can do the same.
This is a cautionary tale.....I only asked for one specific thing for Christmas, and that was a replacement for my bread knife. I make my own bread, and for the past several years I've had a Henkel bread knife that has been amazing, but the handle has started to crack. So that's what I wanted for Christmas, and my DH obliged me buy getting me another awesome bread knife. Sharp as all get-out. Cuts bread like it was buttah. My mother keeps trying to get me to use an electric knife like she does. I've cut bread with a serrated knife for 31 years. I don't need an electric knife. In fact, they scare me a little. But she got me one for Christmas. I'll use it for funeral hams, but that's another story.
So my advice to all of you is if you want good knives, Henkel's are awesome. Just make sure you have a good hold on the handle when you pull it out of the drawer. Because it cuts other things just as well as it cuts bread.
Oh dear! This is not a good thing! I hope stitches weren't required. Don't those things come with covers?
