I am definitely behind here.
I have spent the last couple of days trying to catch up from the Youth Temple Celebration all day Saturday, (photos coming tomorrow) the temple dedication on Sunday and the first day of school today. I haven't been able to catch my breath, let alone get to the computer and get a coherent blog post put together.
I think we've had the discussion that I am not a mom who mourns the first day of school. From the escalation in the snarkiness at home, it was time to get back into the swing of things. DD left first. She's going to be in 8th grade, which boggles my mind. But what's even more startling is that Preemie Boy is a Junior this year.
Being a junior means he only has a half day of school today, so he and a bunch of friends went to IHOP before they had to be at the school.
It's just a little bit on the scary side. These are my babies....the last ones. And they are moving right u the ranks faster than ever.
are you doing Lunch Lady dinner tonight?!?!!?!?

Great pics! the structure of school does aid in getting rid of some of that extra energy ... I don't think my Mom every dreaded the start of school either ... LOL

I am so glad school started today! But when she gets home the snarking will start, that must go on for the 1st week then level off!
