I had the chance to spend some time during the Thanksgiving holiday with DDIL#4, in the scrap space, making some cards. She had a lot of homework to accomplish that weekend, so we used it as a bit of incentive. She'd get some stuff done and then we'd do a card. She'd get some more stuff done and we'd do another one. Here are some of them.

The designs mostly come from the Kristina Werner blog, from different years of her Holiday Card series, or from more recent posts. Here are a couple more designs we didn't get to because time got away from us.

I did quite a bit of cutting on my Silhouette, trying new designs. Some worked better than others.

This one frustrated me quite a bit. It was one I'd seen on the Jennifer McGuire blog and I had looked forward to try the inking techniques. This stamps has been giving me fits, though. If I used regular pressure with it, the middle wouldn't stamp at all. If I pressed really hard, I lost the detail at the top and it just looks smeared.
Anyway, it was a fun time. Incidentally, DDIL has a blog here (with a very cute and very apt title).
